Water Program

 The Water Program focuses on providing access to clean water through the following works:

• •Deep and shallow borehole drilling for community supply and at schools and clinics
• Water harvesting and reservoir storage
• Spring development and small-scale pipelines

The region covered by AwCS is naturally prone to variability in climate/precipitation, worsened now by climate change. This program is a key measure to reducing the impacts of droughts and to improving water access problems in non-emergency times.
